Marie-Anne is one of the banders-in-charge
at McGill Bird Observatory, and has been involved right from the
beginning in 2004 as one of MBO's founders. She graduated with a B.Sc.
in Applied Zoology in 2003 from McGill University and then immediately
began work on her M.Sc, which turned into a Ph.D., examining the
reproductive success of birds breeding on golf courses and other urban
green spaces. She is also currently serving on the Board of
Directors of Bird Protection Quebec, where she is co-chair of their
Sanctuaries Committee.
